Indications
Staquis Ung 2% is indicated for the topical treatment of atopic dermatitis in patients aged two years and older. Its use is indicated for acute episodes and for the management of flare-ups in patients with this condition. Crisaborole is a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor that helps reduce skin inflammation associated with dermatitis, providing relief from symptoms such as redness and itching.
Composition
Each gram of ointment contains 20 mg of crisaborole as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, mineral oil, microcrystalline wax, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to crisaborole or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended on areas of the body where the skin is damaged or infected.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Staquis in patients with a history of allergic reactions. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
