Indications
Seretide Evohaler is indicated for the treatment of patients over 4 years of age with persistent asthma who require daily treatment with an inhaled corticosteroid and who are not adequately controlled with corticosteroid treatment alone. It is also indicated in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in patients who require long-acting bronchodilator treatment and who are not adequately controlled with short-acting bronchodilator treatment. The use of Seretide Evohaler allows both symptom control and prevention of exacerbations in these conditions. It should be used regularly to obtain maximum benefit and should not be used as a rescue treatment for immediate relief of dyspnea or wheezing.
Composition
Each aerosol dose contains: Salmeterol (25 mcg) and Fluticasone (125 mcg) as active ingredients, as well as suitable excipients for the aerosol formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in people who present acute asthma or COPD attacks requiring immediate rescue treatment. It should not be used in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to corticosteroids.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and in those who are being treated with other medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects. It is important to monitor lung function and clinical response to treatment. Excessive use of the medication can result in worsening respiratory symptoms.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
