Indications
Rovartal Nf is indicated for the treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It is used in patients with a family history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those who have risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. This medication may also be prescribed for the prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients. Rosuvastatin acts by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, which contributes to the reduction of LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, and can increase HDL cholesterol levels.
Composition
Each Rovartal Nf tablet contains 10 mg of rosuvastatin and suitable excipients for its formulation.
Contraindications
Rovartal Nf is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or any of the excipients of the product. It should not be used in patients with active or persistent liver disease, as well as in those with elevated transaminase levels. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver disease, excessive alcohol consumption, or in those who are taking other medications that may interact with rosuvastatin. Regular monitoring of lipid levels and liver function is important during treatment. Patients should be informed about the possibility of muscle adverse effects, including myositis and rhabdomyolysis.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
