Indications
Rolet-Sup is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. Its combination of Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, provides a synergistic effect in reducing blood pressure. This medication is suitable for patients who have not achieved adequate blood pressure control with a single antihypertensive agent. In addition, it can be used as first-line therapy in hypertensive patients who require the use of two antihypertensive agents to achieve desired blood pressure goals.
Composition
Each Rolet-Sup tablet contains:
Telmisartan: 80 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide: 12.5 mg
Contraindications
Rolet-Sup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema, during pregnancy and lactation, or in patients with anuria or severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with liver disorders, diabetes mellitus, hyperuricemia, and in those who are being treated with diuretics. It is important to monitor renal function and serum electrolytes during treatment with Rolet-Sup, especially in the first months of therapy. In elderly patients, a dose adjustment may be required.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
