Indications
Rolet is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. Its use helps reduce blood pressure, which in turn can decrease the risk of cardiovascular complications. Furthermore, telmisartan has been shown to have a beneficial effect on renal protection in patients with type 2 diabetes and in those with hypertension. It is important that Rolet be used under the supervision of a doctor, who can adjust the dose as needed and evaluate the patient's response to treatment.
Composition
Each tablet contains 80 mg of telmisartan as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Rolet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to telmisartan or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs). Additionally, its use is contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver and kidney failure, as well as in those using diuretics or medications that may affect kidney function. It is important to monitor blood pressure during treatment to avoid episodes of hypotension.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
