Indications
Rogastril (Cinitapride) is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, such as dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome. It is effective in improving symptoms such as fullness, abdominal distension, epigastric pain, and nausea. Cinitapride acts as a serotonin receptor agonist, facilitating intestinal motility and promoting the coordination of gastric and intestinal activity. Its use can be beneficial in patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders, providing symptomatic relief and improving quality of life.
Composition
Each Rogastril tablet contains 1 mg of Cinitapride as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Rogastril is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Cinitapride or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in patients with mechanical intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, or Parkinson's disease, as it may exacerbate related symptoms.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those being treated with medications that may cause arrhythmias. Medical monitoring is important in patients with kidney or liver problems. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
