Indications
Raas (Telmisartan) is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. This medication works by blocking angiotensin II receptors, which causes blood vessel dilation and consequently lowers blood pressure. It can also be used in hypertensive patients with associated conditions such as type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. It is important that treatment is carried out under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate dose according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Raas tablet contains 40 mg of Telmisartan as an active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Raas is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Telmisartan or any of the formulation components. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, nor in patients with a history of angioedema associated with treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver disease, renal insufficiency, or electrolyte imbalances. It is advisable to monitor renal function and electrolytes in patients starting treatment with Raas. Likewise, the risk of hypotension should be assessed in dehydrated patients or those with a history of heart failure.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
