Indications
Nordet is indicated for the prevention of unplanned pregnancy in women of childbearing age. This hormonal contraceptive works by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus, and modifying the endometrium, which reduces the chances of fertilization and implantation. It is recommended that the use of this medication be started on the first day of the menstrual cycle or on the first Monday after the start of the cycle, according to the physician's recommendations. It is important to follow the instructions for daily tablet intake to ensure its effectiveness.
Composition
Each Nordet tablet contains 0.15 mg of Levonorgestrel and 0.03 mg of Ethinylestradiol, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Nordet is contraindicated in women with a history of venous or arterial thromboembolism, coagulation disorders, breast cancer, severe liver diseases, and in those who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in women with risk factors for cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or a history of migraine. Regular medical follow-up is essential, and any adverse effects or changes in health during medication use should be discussed.
