Indications
Lodestar-Duo is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication combines the antihypertensive effects of Losartan and Amlodipine, allowing for more effective blood pressure control. Additionally, it is used in patients who require additional treatment beyond monotherapy with either of its components. The use of Lodestar-Duo may be considered in cases where adequate blood pressure control is not achieved with a single drug.
Composition
Each capsule of Lodestar-Duo contains: 100 mg of Losartan and 5 mg of Amlodipine. Excipients: [specify excipients if known]
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Losartan, Amlodipine, or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema related to previous ACE inhibitor treatments. It is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of heart, liver, or kidney diseases. It is important to monitor blood pressure and kidney function during treatment. The use of Lodestar-Duo should be carefully evaluated in patients with renal artery stenosis or liver failure.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
