Indications

Inhibitron Twit is indicated for the treatment of diseases related to gastric hyperacidity, such as:

  • Gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Gastroesophageal reflux.
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection in combination with antibiotics.

Omeprazole acts by inhibiting the proton pump in the parietal cells of the stomach, which decreases the production of gastric acid and allows the healing of affected mucous membranes.

Composition

Each capsule contains:

  • Omeprazole: 40 mg
  • Sodium Bicarbonate: 1100 mg

Contraindications

Inhibitron Twit is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of allergic reactions to other proton pump inhibitors.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who are on concomitant treatment with medications that may interact with Omeprazole. It is recommended to periodically evaluate liver function during prolonged treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
