Indications
Excedrin Migraine is indicated for the relief of headache associated with migraine. Its combined formulation of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol, and caffeine acts synergistically to provide an effective analgesic effect. This medication is useful for the acute treatment of migraine episodes, helping to reduce the intensity and duration of pain, as well as alleviating other associated symptoms, such as nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Composition
Each Excedrin Migraine tablet contains: 250 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 250 mg of paracetamol, and 65 mg of caffeine.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to any of its components, as well as in those with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe liver failure, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, as well as in those who regularly consume alcohol. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid prolonged use without medical supervision. Likewise, the possibility of interaction with other medications should be considered, so it is recommended to inform the doctor about all the drugs the patient is using.
