Indications

Dismedox (Pregabalin) is indicated for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, neuropathic pain, and as adjunctive therapy for partial onset seizures in patients with epilepsy. In addition, it is used in the management of generalized anxiety disorder. Its analgesic effect is the result of neurotransmitter modulation in the central nervous system, which contributes to the reduction of pain perception and anxiety.

Composition

Each Dismedox capsule contains 75 mg of Pregabalin, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe renal impairment, as dose adjustment may be required.

Precautions

Regular monitoring is recommended for patients treated with Dismedox, especially in those with a history of substance abuse, depression, or mood disorders. Patients should be warned about the possibility of experiencing dizziness or somnolence, which could affect their ability to perform activities requiring attention and coordination.
