Indications

Combi-Sig is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. The combination of Bisoprolol, a beta-blocker, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, acts synergistically to reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension. It is indicated for adults, as well as for patients who have not achieved adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. It is important that treatment is individualized and that regular blood pressure monitoring is performed to adjust the dose as needed.

Composition

Each tablet contains: 5 mg Bisoprolol and 12.5 mg Hydrochlorothiazide.

Contraindications

Combi-Sig is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those with severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, decompensated heart failure, and in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, diabetes mellitus, peripheral arterial disease, and renal dysfunction. It is important to monitor electrolyte levels, especially potassium, during treatment. Dose adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Storage

Combi-Sig should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
