Indications

Caltrate 600+D is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in adults and children. It is useful in the prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in older individuals who are at a higher risk of fractures. This supplement is essential for maintaining adequate bone health, contributing to bone mineralization and calcium metabolism regulation. Its use is recommended in patients with calcium-deficient diets, as well as in those who require an increased intake of calcium and vitamin D, such as during pregnancy and lactation.

Composition

Each Caltrate 600+D tablet contains: 600 mg Calcium Carbonate and 400 IU Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3).

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, or severe kidney disease. Its use is not recommended in patients with sarcoidosis and in those who present certain types of cancer that alter calcium metabolism.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with heart disease, kidney disease, or those requiring a calcium-restricted diet. It is important to monitor calcium levels in blood and urine, and to adjust the dose if necessary. Caltrate 600+D should be used with caution in people taking other calcium supplements or medications that may affect calcium levels in the body.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
