Indications

Bolt (Tadalafil) is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. This medication works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase type 5 enzyme, which leads to an increase in cyclic GMP levels, thus promoting smooth muscle relaxation in the penis and allowing an adequate erectile response to sexual stimulation. It is also used for the treatment of symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), improving urinary flow and reducing the discomfort associated with this condition.

Composition

Each Bolt tablet contains 5 mg of Tadalafil as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients such as lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Bolt is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in combination with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or nitric oxide donors, as it can cause a significant drop in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated in patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accidents, or severe arrhythmias in the last six months.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension or hypotension, severe liver or kidney diseases. A proper medical evaluation is essential before starting treatment with Tadalafil. Likewise, excessive alcohol consumption should be avoided, as it can affect the ability to achieve an erection.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
