Indications
Benedorm is indicated for the treatment of sleep disorders such as insomnia and difficulty falling asleep. Melatonin, its active ingredient, is a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. Its use is recommended in situations of jet lag, changes in work schedules, or for those who experience sleep problems due to stress or anxiety. This product may also be beneficial for older adults who suffer from age-related sleep disturbances.
Composition
Each sublingual tablet contains 5 mg of melatonin and excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Benedorm is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to melatonin or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in people suffering from autoimmune diseases or who are undergoing treatment with immunosuppressants.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Benedorm in patients with endocrine disorders or coagulation problems. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption and other sedatives during treatment. It is suggested not to drive or perform activities requiring full attention after administering this medication, as it may cause drowsiness.
