Indications
Batensiar (Nebivolol) is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension. This medication acts as a selective beta-blocker that helps reduce blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and decreasing heart rate. Its use is recommended for adult patients who need a reduction in blood pressure to prevent associated complications, such as cardiovascular diseases and strokes. Additionally, it can be used for the treatment of chronic heart failure in combination with other medications, under strict medical supervision.
Composition
Each Batensiar tablet contains 5 mg of Nebivolol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Batensiar is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Nebivolol or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in individuals with decompensated heart failure, severe bradycardia, second or third-degree atrioventricular block, cardiogenic shock, and in those with asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Batensiar to patients with a history of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, and those who are undergoing treatment with other antihypertensive medications. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is essential during treatment. The possibility of a withdrawal syndrome should be considered when discontinuing treatment, so gradual withdrawal is recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and out of reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
