Indications
Wermy is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy in adults and children over 12 years of age, as adjunctive therapy in partial seizures, with or without secondary generalization. It is also used for the management of neuropathic pain, which can result from nerve damage or conditions such as diabetic neuropathy. Gabapentin acts by modulating neurotransmitter release, which helps reduce neuronal excitability and, therefore, control epileptic seizures and pain associated with neuropathic conditions. It is recommended that the dosage and treatment regimen be determined by a physician, based on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
Composition
Each Wermy capsule contains 300 mg of gabapentin, as well as excipients necessary for the drug's formulation.
Contraindications
Wermy is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to gabapentin or any of the excipients that make up the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to similar medications.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Wermy to patients with a history of kidney disease, as gabapentin elimination occurs primarily through the kidneys. In addition, it is recommended to monitor patients with mood disorders or a history of depression, as an increased risk of suicidal thoughts has been reported in some patients treated with gabapentin.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
