Indications

Vicnite is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergies, including allergic rhinitis. It is also used for the management of urticaria symptoms and other allergic reactions. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine, which helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, itchy eyes, nose or throat, and runny nose. Additionally, Vicnite can be used as a mild sedative to help with sleep onset, as diphenhydramine can cause drowsiness in some patients.

Composition

Each Vicnite capsule contains: Diphenhydramine 25 mg. Excipients: [detail excipients if known].

Contraindications

Vicnite is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Its use is also contraindicated in patients who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have stopped them in the last two weeks.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Vicnite to elderly patients, children under 12 years of age, and those with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or liver or kidney problems. It is important to avoid alcohol intake during treatment, as it can increase the sedative effects of diphenhydramine. It is also recommended not to drive vehicles or perform activities requiring mental alertness until the effect of the medication on each patient is known.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
