Indications
Versitol is a food supplement indicated to improve protein metabolism and nitrogen balance in the body. It is used in situations of metabolic stress, such as liver diseases, where additional nutritional support is required. It is also recommended in cases of malnutrition or in patients with increased amino acid requirements, such as in patients with cirrhosis or liver failure. Its formulation with L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate helps reduce the accumulation of ammonia in the body, promoting liver health and physical performance.
Composition
Each sachet of Versitol contains:
L-Ornithine: 1.5 g
L-Aspartate: 1.5 g
Excipients: citric acid, artificial flavor and sweeteners.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney disease or in those who have metabolic amino acid diseases. It should not be administered in case of intestinal obstruction or severe gastrointestinal diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using it in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease or who are undergoing treatment with medications that affect blood pressure. It is advisable to monitor patients who show alterations in liver or kidney function during the use of this product. It is advisable to consult a doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
