Indications
Vengesic is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring pain and inflammation relief. It is used for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders. The combination of phenylbutazone, dexamethasone, and methocarbamol provides an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, helping to reduce discomfort associated with these conditions. The presence of aluminum may contribute to gastric protection in patients requiring prolonged treatment. It is important that the use of Vengesic is supervised by a physician to determine the appropriate duration and dosage according to the patient's clinical response.
Composition
Each Vengesic dragee contains: 100 mg of phenylbutazone, 0.5 mg of dexamethasone, 200 mg of methocarbamol, and necessary excipients for the formulation.
Contraindications
Vengesic is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, active peptic ulcer, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, hypertension, or those undergoing anticoagulant treatment. It is essential to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment, as well as to evaluate the need to continue the medication if significant adverse effects occur.
Storage
Store Vengesic in its original packaging, at a controlled temperature between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
