Indications

Trodis is indicated for the adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with early-stage hormone-dependent breast cancer. It is also used as a first-line treatment in postmenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer. Letrozole acts as an aromatase inhibitor, decreasing estrogen production, which can help slow the growth of certain types of breast cancer that require estrogen to grow.

Composition

Each Trodis tablet contains 2.5 mg of Letrozole as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients such as lactose, corn starch, among others, which facilitate the formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Trodis is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Letrozole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Likewise, its use is not recommended in premenopausal women, during pregnancy, or lactation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as those with a history of thromboembolism. Regular medical follow-up is important during treatment with Trodis.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
