Indications

Trevinal (Ketorolac) is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, including postoperative pain and pain associated with orthopedic and gynecological procedures. This medication is useful in the management of post-traumatic pain, as well as in the treatment of painful conditions such as arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions. It is also used for pain relief in patients requiring analgesia during minor medical procedures.

Composition

Each ampoule of Trevinal contains: Ketorolac tromethamine 30 mg, excipients q.s.p. 1 ml.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or any of the formulation components. It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, or those receiving other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its use is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless specifically medically indicated.

Precautions

Trevinal should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, moderate hepatic or renal insufficiency, and in those with coagulation disorders. The lowest effective dose should be considered for the shortest possible time to minimize the risk of adverse effects. Monitor renal and hepatic function in patients receiving prolonged treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
