Indications
Tramadol/Paracetamol 37.5/325 mg is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. This medication combines two analgesics that act on the central nervous system, providing a synergistic effect that can be effective in the management of acute and chronic pain. Its use is recommended in clinical situations such as postoperative pain, cancer pain, and pain associated with injuries or chronic diseases. It is important that treatment is supervised by a healthcare professional, who will assess the dose and duration of treatment according to the individual needs of the patient.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Tramadol 37.5 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg as active ingredients. Additionally, it contains excipients such as starch, cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other components necessary for the tablet formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in those with severe respiratory depression, irritable bowel syndrome, and in patients who have consumed monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the two weeks prior to treatment. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with a history of substance abuse or opioid dependence.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizure disorders, liver or kidney disease, and in those receiving concomitant treatment with other medications that may affect the central nervous system. It is crucial to follow the doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose. Prolonged use can lead to dependence or tolerance to the drug.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
