Indications

Tramadol 100 mg/2 ml is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain in adults. This medication is used in situations where pain is debilitating and requires effective control. Its use is recommended in the management of postoperative pain, oncological pain, and pain associated with acute processes of different etiologies. It is important to administer the medication under strict medical supervision, considering the patient's evaluation and the adequacy of the necessary doses for pain management.

Composition

Each ampoule contains: Tramadol (as hydrochloride) 100 mg and excipients, which facilitate the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tramadol or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of acute intoxication by alcohol, hypnotics, centrally acting analgesics, or in patients with a history of drug dependence. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with severe respiratory diseases, such as bronchial asthma or severe respiratory insufficiency.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of seizures or who are undergoing treatment with medications that lower the seizure threshold. Its use should also be supervised in patients with liver or kidney disease, as dosage adjustments may be required. It is essential that the patient informs their doctor about any other medications they are taking to avoid adverse interactions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
