Indications

Tradaxin is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching. It is also used in the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria, relieving itching and skin rash. Cetirizine, its active ingredient, acts as a selective antagonist of histamine H1 receptors, which helps reduce the allergic response in the body. It is effective in reducing symptoms caused by exposure to environmental allergens, as well as in episodes of food allergies. Its onset of action is rapid, usually within one hour, and its effect can last up to 24 hours, allowing for prolonged symptom control.

Composition

Each Tradaxin tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine, as well as excipients that facilitate the product's formulation and administration.

Contraindications

Tradaxin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any of the excipients in the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe renal insufficiency and in those with conditions that may be exacerbated by sedation, as cetirizine may cause drowsiness.

Precautions

Medical monitoring is recommended for patients with a history of seizures or who are being treated with other medications that may cause central nervous system depression. Likewise, special care should be taken when administering Tradaxin to elderly or pediatric patients, as they may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
