Indications

Tradaxin is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, itching of the nose and eyes, and nasal congestion. It is also used for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria, alleviating itching and the appearance of hives on the skin. Cetirizine, as a second-generation antihistamine, works by blocking H1 histamine receptors, which results in the reduction of the effects of allergic reactions. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Composition

Each Tradaxin tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Tradaxin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment and in those who have difficulty urinating. Likewise, it should be used with caution in patients with conditions that affect kidney function.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures or in those who consume alcohol, as it may enhance sedative effects. It should not be used in combination with other antihistamines without medical supervision. During treatment, driving and operating heavy machinery should be avoided, due to the potential for drowsiness.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
