Indications
Tracfree (Cilostazol) is indicated for the treatment of intermittent claudication, which is a symptom of peripheral arterial disease. This medication acts as an antiplatelet and vasodilator, improving blood circulation in the lower limbs, which can help increase the distance patients can walk without experiencing pain. Additionally, it may be useful in the management of other circulatory disorders when its use is justified under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each tablet contains 100 mg of Cilostazol as the active ingredient. Excipients: citric acid, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, among others.
Contraindications
Tracfree is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Cilostazol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with congestive heart failure or those receiving treatment with CYP2C19 inhibitors. It is also contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of bleeding disorders, peptic ulcers, or those taking anticoagulants, as the use of Tracfree may increase the risk of bleeding. In addition, frequent monitoring is recommended in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency. It is essential to consult a physician before starting treatment, especially if other medications are being taken or if pre-existing medical conditions exist.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
