Indications
Tisodank (Hydrocortisone) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring the anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive action of corticosteroids. It is used in the management of diseases such as asthma, autoimmune diseases, and in situations of adrenal insufficiency. It is also indicated for the treatment of severe allergic reactions and in dermatological conditions such as dermatitis and eczema. It is important that the use of this medication be under medical supervision, given that its administration must be individualized and based on the patient's clinical evaluation.
Composition
Each Tisodank ampoule contains 100 mg of hydrocortisone as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in uncontrolled systemic infections, in patients with active peptic ulcer, or in those with acute viral diseases, such as chickenpox or measles, without due medical evaluation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Tisodank in patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, and mental illnesses. Prolonged use can result in significant adverse effects, so regular medical supervision is recommended. In addition, it is important to consider the possibility of interactions with other medications the patient may be taking.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
