Indications

Tadalafil is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. This medication works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which facilitates an erection. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, improving exercise capacity in patients with this condition. It is important to follow medical instructions and not exceed the recommended dose.

Composition

Each Tadalafil 20 mg tablet contains:

  • Tadalafil: 20 mg
  • Excipients: Lactose, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tadalafil or to any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients being treated with nitrates, as the combination can lead to a severe drop in blood pressure. Likewise, it should not be used in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases or who have recently suffered a heart attack.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, vision problems, or priapism. A medical evaluation is essential before starting treatment with Tadalafil, as well as informing the doctor about any other medications being taken, as interactions may occur.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
