Indications
Sigdan Suspension is indicated for the treatment of various respiratory conditions that require the use of corticosteroids. It is used in the management of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as in the treatment of sinusitis. It is also effective in the treatment of asthma, helping to reduce airway inflammation and improve lung function. Its mechanism of action is based on reducing inflammation and immune response in lung tissue, which is essential for relieving respiratory symptoms and improving patients' quality of life.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Sigdan Suspension contains 0.05 g of Mometasone, as well as the necessary excipients for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mometasone or to any of the formulation components. It should not be administered in cases of uncontrolled respiratory tract infections, nor in patients with active tuberculosis or viral infections.
Precautions
It is recommended to use this medicine with caution in patients with active respiratory infections, glaucoma, cataracts, or those with a history of peptic ulcers. Adequate monitoring is important in patients with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, or hyperthyroidism. Prolonged use of corticosteroids can cause systemic adverse effects, so it is suggested to evaluate the risk-benefit ratio before starting treatment.
