Indications
Salbutamol Nebulizing Solution is indicated for the treatment and control of asthmatic attacks and the relief of bronchospastic symptoms in conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. This medication acts as a bronchodilator, facilitating the opening of the airways and improving breathing. It is effective in emergency situations and in the long-term management of patients with obstructive respiratory diseases.
Composition
Each 5 mL of solution contains: Salbutamol (as sulfate) 2.5 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Contraindications
Salbutamol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of uncontrolled severe tachycardia or cardiac arrhythmias, nor in patients with a history of recent acute myocardial infarction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and in those undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors. It is important to monitor lung function and clinical response to treatment. Excessive use of Salbutamol can lead to decreased effectiveness and an increase in adverse effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
