Indications
Prilver (Ramipril) is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, either alone or in combination with other antihypertensives. It is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients, as well as in the treatment of heart failure in patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction. The medication acts by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which results in a decrease in blood pressure and the load on the heart.
Composition
Each Prilver tablet contains 5 mg of Ramipril as the active ingredient, as well as the excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Prilver is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ramipril or other ACE inhibitors, as well as in those with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with ACE inhibitors. It should not be used in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in those with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of angioedema, renovascular hypertension, renal insufficiency, or in those who are receiving diuretics. It is important to monitor renal function, as well as blood potassium levels during treatment. Diabetic patients should consult their doctor before starting treatment with Prilver.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
