Indications

Pramipexole is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease in early and advanced stages. Its use is effective as monotherapy in patients in early stages and as adjunctive treatment in combination with levodopa in advanced stages of the disease. It is also used for the treatment of restless legs syndrome in moderate to severe cases, helping to reduce discomfort and improve the patient's sleep quality.

Composition

Each Pramipexole tablet contains 0.5 mg of pramipexole as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients such as lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, and other inactive components.

Contraindications

The use of Pramipexole is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the molecule or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Precautions should be taken in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, as Pramipexole may exacerbate certain symptoms. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of excessive somnolence or sudden sleep episodes. Close medical monitoring is recommended for patients who experience adverse effects or changes in their clinical condition.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30 °C.
