Indications
Nosipren is indicated for the treatment of various conditions that require an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effect. It is used in the management of autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also prescribed in cases of severe allergies, asthma, and obstructive pulmonary diseases. In addition, it is used in the treatment of certain types of cancer, as well as in the management of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions. Prednisone acts by suppressing the immune response and inflammation, providing relief in situations where inflammation is harmful to the patient.
Composition
Each Nosipren tablet contains 20 mg of prednisone as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc.
Contraindications
Nosipren is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to prednisone or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with uncontrolled systemic infections, and in those with active peptic ulcers or severe gastrointestinal diseases. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe osteoporosis, uncontrolled arterial hypertension, and decompensated diabetes mellitus.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in the use of Nosipren in patients with infections, as it can mask symptoms and worsen the condition. Likewise, care should be taken in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes, or gastrointestinal problems. It is important to monitor patients during treatment, especially if prolonged use is planned or if high doses are being administered.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
