Indications
Nesajar is indicated for the treatment of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, such as irritable bowel syndrome and various forms of dyspepsia. This medication combines the properties of pinaverium, an antispasmodic that acts on the smooth muscles of the intestine, and dimethicone, which reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles, facilitating their elimination. It is useful in cases of abdominal distension, flatulence, and abdominal pain associated with intestinal spasms.
Composition
Each capsule contains:
- Pinaverium 100 mg
- Dimethicone 300 mg
Contraindications
Nesajar is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with intestinal obstruction, ulcerative colitis, or megacolon, as well as in those suffering from severe liver or kidney diseases without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. It is important to monitor patients with persistent symptoms, as they may mask more serious conditions. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without prior consultation with a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
