Indications

Mictrobil is indicated for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. This medication helps to lower intraocular pressure in patients with these conditions. Additionally, it can be used in patients who have not responded adequately to other glaucoma treatments. It is important that the use of Mictrobil be supervised by a specialized physician, who will determine the duration and frequency of treatment according to the individual needs of the patient.

Composition

Each ml of Mictrobil contains 0.3 mg of Bimatoprost as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for its proper formulation and preservation.

Contraindications

Mictrobil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Bimatoprost or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in individuals with a history of ocular inflammation or eye infections, as well as in patients who are being treated with other ophthalmic medications containing bimatoprost. Caution should be exercised in patients with chronic respiratory diseases.

Precautions

Special care should be taken when using Mictrobil in patients with a history of eye problems, as well as in those who wear contact lenses. It is advisable to wait at least 15 minutes after applying Mictrobil before inserting contact lenses. Furthermore, avoid contact of the dropper with any surface to prevent contamination. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medication.

Storage

Store Mictrobil at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiration date indicated on the package.
