Indications

Loratadine 10 mg is an antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, itching of the nose and eyes, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. It is effective in treating these conditions by antagonizing H1 histamine receptors, thereby reducing the allergic response in the body.

This medication is indicated for adults and children over 2 years of age. Its use is recommended in patients who present with seasonal or perennial allergic reactions, as well as in those who suffer from itching and skin rashes due to allergic conditions.

Composition

Each Loratadine 10 mg tablet contains:

  • Loratadine: 10 mg
  • Excipients: sufficient quantity to complete the tablet content

Contraindications

Loratadine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Loratadine to patients with liver or kidney diseases. It is recommended to evaluate the clinical status and adjust the dose if necessary. In addition, alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as it may increase sedative effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
