Indications

Lidocaine Ointment 5% is indicated for the relief of pain and itching associated with various dermatological conditions. This medication acts as a local anesthetic, providing a temporary numbing effect in the area where it is applied. It is useful in the treatment of minor burns, insect bites, dermatitis, and other skin conditions that cause discomfort. It can also be used in minor procedures that require local anesthesia, allowing for pain-free intervention.

Composition

Each 100 g of ointment contains: Lidocaine 5 g as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be applied to deep wounds, severe infections, or extensive areas of damaged skin without the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Lidocaine Ointment 5% in patients with heart disorders, epilepsy, or liver diseases. It is also important to avoid application on mucous membranes or in areas where it can be rapidly absorbed, as this could increase the risk of adverse effects. In case of adverse reactions or persistent irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
