Indications
Laritol G Syrup is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and allergies. It is useful for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and symptoms such as sneezing, rhinorrhea (runny nose), itching of the nose and eyes, as well as nasal congestion. In addition, paracetamol provides an analgesic and antipyretic effect, relieving fever and general discomfort. This medication is suitable for patients who require control of these symptoms in situations such as viral infections or allergen exposure.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Laritol G Syrup contains: Loratadine 33.33 mg, Phenylephrine 16.66 mg, Paracetamol 500 mg.
Contraindications
Laritol G is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in those with severe liver or kidney disease. It is also contraindicated in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in children under 2 years of age.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, and glaucoma. It is advisable to monitor elderly patients and those who are undergoing treatment with other medications that may interact. The recommended dose should not be exceeded to avoid serious adverse effects.
