Indications
Firialta is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. Its action is based on the selective inhibition of mineralocorticoid receptors, which reduces sodium and water retention, contributing to the decrease in blood pressure. In addition, it can be used in patients with chronic heart failure to improve cardiac function and reduce the risk of hospitalization. It is essential that treatment be supervised by a physician, who will evaluate the patient's response and adjust the dose as needed.
Composition
Each tablet contains 10 mg of Finerenone as an active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Firialta is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to finerenone or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal failure or hyperkalemia. Its use is not recommended in patients who are being treated with other mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, or electrolyte disturbances. It is important to periodically monitor blood potassium levels during treatment. In addition, interaction with other medications that affect the metabolism of Finerenone should be considered.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
