Indications
Espadiva is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of painful and spasmodic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as abdominal cramps, as well as for the management of pain associated with inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis and dysmenorrhea. The combination of hyoscine, an antispasmodic, and ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), allows for a dual approach to pain, relieving both muscle spasm and inflammation. Its use is particularly effective in cases of renal and biliary colic, as well as in situations of digestive discomfort.
Composition
Each Espadiva tablet contains:
- Hyoscine: 20 mg
- Ibuprofen: 400 mg
Contraindications
Espadiva is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of active peptic ulcer, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Its use is not recommended in patients with bronchial asthma or a history of allergic reactions to NSAIDs.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, arterial hypertension, chronic kidney disease, or liver diseases. Prolonged use and high doses should be avoided due to the potential risk of gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse effects. It is recommended to periodically evaluate renal and hepatic function during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
