Indications
Dolprofen is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of various conditions involving pain and inflammation. It is used in the management of headaches, muscle aches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and joint pain. It is also indicated for the treatment of fever in various febrile conditions. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it a useful option for the treatment of rheumatic diseases and sports injuries. It is important to follow medical and dosage instructions to obtain the maximum benefit from the treatment and minimize possible adverse effects.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Ibuprofen 800 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: starch, talc, silica, among others.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and during the third trimester of pregnancy. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal or cardiovascular diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Dolprofen to patients with a history of asthma, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, as well as those who are undergoing anticoagulant treatment. Medical supervision is recommended in elderly patients or those with pre-existing medical conditions. Prolonged administration of NSAIDs may require regular evaluation of kidney and liver function.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
