Indications
Craztronin (Azithromycin) is indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, and bronchitis. Additionally, it is effective in the management of skin and soft tissue infections, as well as certain sexually transmitted infections, such as urethritis and cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. It is also considered in the treatment of Lyme disease and some mycoplasma and chlamydia infections.
Composition
Each Craztronin tablet contains: Azithromycin 500 mg. Excipients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to azithromycin, other macrolides, or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe liver problems or severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Craztronin to patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias, as well as those taking medications that prolong the QT interval. It is also important to evaluate liver and kidney function before initiating treatment. If severe diarrhea develops, pseudomembranous colitis should be considered.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from humidity and light. Keep out of reach of children.
