Indications

Budesonide nebulization suspension is indicated for the treatment of asthma in adult and pediatric patients, as well as for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). This medication acts as a corticosteroid that helps reduce airway inflammation, facilitating breathing and improving lung function. It is also used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, helping to relieve associated nasal symptoms.

Composition

Each ampoule contains Budesonide 0.250 mg in suspension, in addition to excipients necessary for its formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Budesonide or any of its excipients. It should not be administered to individuals with uncontrolled lung infections, active tuberculosis, or systemic fungal infections.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, and those receiving immunosuppressive treatments. It is important to monitor patients with recurrent or chronic respiratory infections. Treatment should not be abruptly discontinued without adequate medical supervision.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
