Indications
Bemoncaz (Bortezomib) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy. It is also used in the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma in patients who have received at least one prior therapy. This medication works by inhibiting the proteasome, a cellular structure that degrades proteins. By interfering with this function, Bortezomib induces cell death in cancer cells, which helps to reduce tumor burden and improve outcomes in treated patients.
Composition
Each ampoule of Bemoncaz contains:
Bortezomib 3.5 mg.
Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, water for injection.
Contraindications
Bemoncaz is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bortezomib or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe health problems, such as severe neuropathy or dehydration.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of neuropathy or bleeding problems, as Bortezomib may exacerbate these conditions. In addition, careful monitoring for signs of infection is recommended, as the medication may cause immunosuppression. It is important to assess renal function before initiating treatment, as doses may require adjustment in patients with compromised renal function.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
