Barmicil Compuesto Cream is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the combined action of a corticosteroid, an antifungal, and an antibiotic. This medication is used in the management of inflammatory dermatitis, superficial skin infections caused by fungi and bacteria, such as seborrheic dermatitis, ringworm, cutaneous candidiasis, and other inflammatory processes complicated by infection. Its formulation reduces inflammation and itching while fighting the associated infection, facilitating the recovery of the affected skin.
Composition
Each 100g of cream contains: Betamethasone 0.05g, Clotrimazole 1g, Gentamicin 0.1g. Excipients: Purified water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, among others.
Contraindications
Barmicil Compuesto Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in viral skin infections (such as herpes simplex or chickenpox) and cutaneous tuberculosis. It should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes.
Precautions
Barmicil Compuesto Cream should be used with caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions to corticosteroids. Prolonged use may lead to systemic adverse effects, especially in children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or sensitization, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
