Indications

Aspitak-P is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions, including headache, muscle pain, joint pain, and postoperative pain. It is also used in the prevention of thrombotic events in patients at cardiovascular risk, as well as in the treatment of fever and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Acetylsalicylic acid acts as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic, providing relief in various medical conditions.

Composition

Each Aspitak-P tablet contains 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, bleeding disorders, or severe kidney failure. In patients with a history of salicylate-induced asthma, its use may worsen the condition.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcers, as well as in those with liver or kidney diseases. Likewise, special care should be taken when using it in children and adolescents with viral infections, due to the risk of Reye's syndrome. It is important to discontinue treatment prior to surgical procedures due to its anticoagulant effect.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and avoid exposure to direct light.
