Indications

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used in the treatment of various bacterial infections. It is indicated in the following cases:

  • Upper respiratory tract infections, such as pharyngitis and sinusitis.
  • Lower respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia and acute bronchitis.
  • Ear infections, such as otitis media.
  • Urinary tract infections, such as cystitis and pyelonephritis.
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with peptic ulcers.

Composition

Each capsule contains 500 mg of amoxicillin.

Contraindications

Amoxicillin is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, penicillins, or other β-lactam antibiotics. It is also contraindicated in cases of viral infections, such as infectious mononucleosis.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with allergies to other medications. It is important to monitor for adverse reactions and discontinue treatment in case of severe allergic reactions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
