Indications
Amlodipine 5 mg is indicated in the treatment of arterial hypertension and angina pectoris, both stable and unstable. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows the relaxation of blood vessels, thus decreasing vascular resistance and reducing blood pressure. It is also used in patients with coronary artery disease to prevent angina attacks. It is important that treatment is supervised by a doctor, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on the patient's condition.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Amlodipine 5 mg. Excipients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amlodipine or to any of the excipients of the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of cardiogenic shock, severe aortic stenosis, or severe heart failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency, or those who are taking medications that may interact with amlodipine. It is recommended to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. In case of adverse reactions, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
